While browsing through some group buying sites I stumbled upon Hale Manna. I checked on their website and it enticed me to inquire. Their slogan “Home away from home” really speaks for itself. The owner Ms. Becky Smith, personally answers all queries and makes sure that all guests are properly taken cared of.
Her house is about 3 hours away from Cebu City and a few kilometers away from the city of Moalboal. After the road trip it was definitely a sight to see the wonderful house. We were immediately welcomed by Ms. Becky and her staff.
We were then led to our room which is supposed to be a superior room but got a deluxe room instead. It has 2 big beds and an extra bed good for 1 with a big rest room as well. Outside the room is an open area with a TV, dvd player, sofa and lots of books and magazines.
There are a lot of common areas where you can lounge and enjoy the sea breeze. We were very fortunate because we booked for a weekday stay thus we were the only guests. We got to enjoy the area as if it was our home! hehehe. Some of the things that you could enjoy is a pool table, game boards, free wifi connection, and of course lots of reading materials. But you always have the option to just sit or lay down doing nothing!
The interior is also outstanding. You will definitely see that the furniture is of good quality and definitely Philippine made.
Food? They served iced tea and banana cake when we arrived. After a while we ordered food for lunch and it was sumptuous. Of course after that we had to look forward to the next meal! hehehe.
Service? The staff of hale manna are all nice, courteous and very easy to talk to including the Master Chef! Definitely 5 stars! All in all our trip to Hale Manna was indeed enjoyable and relaxing! This place is highly recommended! Kudos to all especially to Ms. Becky! You can check out their website at http://www.halemanna.com/
